Americans continue to "brag" about their giant ships. Following the video, which shows life on aircraft carriers, NBC showed the features of American amphibious ships and the nuances of service on them.
USS Tripoli is one of the amphibious assault ships of the Amegisa type. In terms of its displacement (45,700 tons), it is comparable to light aircraft carriers and is even equipped with a flight deck, which potentially allows carrying F-35B fighters, although officially only helicopters and tiltrotor planes are included in the aircraft wing of the ship.
