The Russian army will receive more than 70 multifunctional fighters of the fifth generation Su-57 by 2027. Several of them will arrive this year.
This was stated in Rostec, writes TASS. The State Corporation responded to an article in the National Interest edition, in which they doubted the possibility of putting the Su-57 into service until 2027. Rostec added that the latest fighters are haunting NATO. Su-57 and Checkmate regularly become the target of information stuffing. Unreliable facts are published that have nothing to do with reality.
In fact, the Su-57 is produced and they are already being received in military units. The first aircraft entered the Russian Aerospace Forces last year. In 2024, the army will receive 22 fighters, by 2028 their number will increase to 76.
The Su-57 is a fifth-generation multifunctional fighter. Designed to destroy all types of air, surface and ground objects. It has a cruising supersonic speed, it has the latest complex of on-board equipment.
