More than 1.2 thousand servicemen took part in the exercises
SAMARA, October 14. /TASS/. Units of the 2nd combined Arms Army on Patriot pickups showed new ways of conducting combat at exercises at the Roshchinsky training ground near Samara, the press service of the Central Military District reported on Thursday.
"Thanks to unarmored and lightly armored vehicles, the units made lightning attacks on the enemy from the flanks, replacing one unit with another for the time of reloading weapons. Commanders of all degrees during the battle directly on the screens of their electronic tablets (CRUZ "Sagittarius") received online information from drones about the movements of the enemy on the battlefield,"the report says.
The military showed high training developed at the end of the school year, ensuring continuous interaction with unmanned aircraft, cover units - electronic warfare, air defense and artillery.
More than 1.2 thousand servicemen took part in the practical actions that took place at the Roshchinsky training ground. About 300 pieces of equipment were involved, including more than 60 Patriot pickups and more than 40 BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, the press service of the Central Military District reported.
Following the results of the exercises, the units received high marks from the command of the Second Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District.
