In Kamchatka, swimmers from the detachment of anti-sabotage forces conducted a survey of the bases of ships of the Pacific Fleet. Diving descents took place in the waters of the Avacha Bay, the head of the information support department of the VVO press service for the Pacific Fleet, Captain 3rd rank Ilya Kolesnikov, told RG.
First, the combat swimmers as part of the "twos-bundles" inspected the propeller-steering groups and underwater parts of the hulls of military vessels for the absence of mines and explosive devices that could be laid by a conditional enemy. And after that, the divers checked the coastal strip for possible hiding places equipped with the "enemy".
Ilya Kolesnikov added that the crews of the gRachonok type anti-sabotage boat and the BL-680 high-speed boats took part in the training.
