MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. About a hundred ships and vessels of the Navy are currently involved in solving problems in the far sea and ocean zones. This is stated in the message of the information support service of the Main Command of the Russian Navy.
According to the report, the commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, congratulated his subordinates on the Day of the commander of a surface, submarine and aircraft. "The corresponding congratulatory telegram <...> has been sent to the command of the Northern, Pacific, Black Sea, Baltic Fleets and the Caspian Flotilla, as well as to the commanders of about 100 ships and vessels currently performing tasks in the far sea and ocean zones," the message says.
The Commander-in-chief noted that the current generation of Russian ship commanders carries the naval flag with honor and dignity on the expanses of the World Ocean, performs the duties of military service and successfully solves the tasks set. "I wish you and your subordinate personnel good health, success in improving military skills, happiness, prosperity, new heights in service, work and study, for the benefit of strengthening the combat power of the Russian Navy," Yevmenov stressed.
