Military personnel of motorized rifle units of the 201st Russian military base during the exercise practiced conducting combat operations to destroy a sabotage group of a conditional enemy in the mountains of Tajikistan, the Central Military District (CVO) reported on Monday.
"At the Lyaur training ground, scouts, using modern means of reconnaissance and surveillance, such as "Sobolyatnik", "fArah-VR", carried out a search and blocking from the dominant heights of the area of the illegal armed formation. Having carried out a lightning raid on a sabotage group of a conditional enemy, motorized skirmishes with fire from the armament of armored personnel carriers BTR-82A and small arms destroyed his manpower," the report says.
The control of the destruction of targets and the correction of fire was carried out by the calculation of the complex of the unmanned aerial vehicle "Orlan-10".
Also during the exercise, the servicemen worked out standards for special, medical, tactical, fire training, overcoming obstacles on a special psychological lane, the district clarifies.
