A high-quality picture has been published, presumably, of a prototype of a modernized version of the Su-30SM fighter, built at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAZ) - a branch of PJSC Irkut Corporation (as part of PJSC United Aircraft Corporation). The aircraft is unpainted, but it bears the identification marks of the Russian Aerospace Forces and at the same time the atypical tail number "001 red".

This board on August 10, 2021, in the same unpainted form and with the tail number "001 red", was filmed by spotters during an intermediate landing in Omsk during, apparently, a transfer flight from Irkutsk, to, presumably, Zhukovsky.
