Moscow. September 20. INTERFAX - At the same time, bilateral battalion and regimental tactical exercises have started at four training grounds of the Southern Military District, which will last until September 26, the press service of the Southern Military District informs.
"At the training grounds of the Rostov region, Kuzminsky and Kadamovsky will perform combat training tasks of motorized infantry and tankers of the units of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the Southern Military District," the report says.
It is noted that a motorized rifle regiment from the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division will march to the Alpine training ground, where it will take part in a bilateral command and staff exercise with servicemen of a military base stationed in South Ossetia. The personnel of the military base will perform combat training tasks at their regular training ground Dzartsem.
"At the Gvardeyets training ground in the Chechen Republic, a bilateral battalion tactical exercise will also continue with the battalion tactical groups of the motorized rifle regiment of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division and the coastal defense unit of the 22nd Army Corps of the Black Sea Fleet. In addition, tactical exercises will be held in all associations of the Southern Military District with the development of new elements of the combat order and methods of tactical actions, " the press service said.
A large-scale training of mobile tactical groups designed to combat unmanned aerial vehicles will take place at the Opuk training ground in Crimea.
