At the DSEI-2021 exhibition, Babcock International for the first time showed a model of a promising large rocket boat of a new type, which will be received by the Ukrainian Naval Forces. It will be created according to the UNCEP program. The concept is based on the British small patrol ship Protector 50.
At the DSEI-2021 defense exhibition, the Ukroboronprom concern and the British Babcock International signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of naval forces development. At the same time, Babcock showed a model of a promising missile boat for the Ukrainian fleet.
Eight large missile boats will be built for the Navy. Four should be created in the UK, and the same number should be created on the territory of Ukraine.

The length of the boat will be at least 50 meters with a displacement (probably standard) of 400 tons. Full speed-up to 45 knots. The boat will be armed with eight anti-ship missiles-possibly a new Ukrainian type "Neptune". There are also other weapons.
We will remind, recently the first corvette of a new type for the Ukrainian Naval Forces was laid in Turkey. The state-owned company STM acted as the main contractor.
