The submarine of the Black Sea Fleet "Veliky Novgorod "hit the target of the"enemy" with torpedoes during the exercises

MOSCOW, September 16/ Sputnik Radio. During the exercises of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet), the Veliky Novgorod submarine successfully hit the ship of a conditional enemy with torpedoes, RIA Novosti reports.

The" destroyed " target was imitated by one of the small anti-submarine ships of the fleet, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet specified. The shooting was carried out with practical torpedoes, after the maneuvers, the torpedo boat lifted all the shells out of the water.

"The effectiveness of the use of torpedo weapons by the crew was assessed as "good", " the press service of the fleet added.

The diesel-electric submarine Veliky Novgorod has already performed similar tasks in practice. In 2017, a submarine from an underwater state struck with" Calibers " at terrorists in Syria from the Mediterranean Sea.
