It is noted that the landing was carried out from the large landing ships "Korolev", "Minsk", "Kaliningrad" and "Olenegorsky miner". More than 40 BTR-80 armored personnel carriers with the personnel of the units of the Northern Fleet Marine Corps unit went to the float. Directly on the coast, the marines with equipment landed from small amphibious hovercraft " Mordovia "and"Evgeny Kocheshkov".
In turn, the amphibious assault units of the Marine Corps of the Baltic Fleet solved the tasks of anti-amphibious defense of a section of the sea coast.
