Severnaya Verf installed turbines and reducers of the main power plant on the project 22350 Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Isakov frigate under construction.
- The elements of the diesel-gas turbine unit DGTA M55R were loaded onto the ship. This is the second fully domestic unit created at Russian facilities as part of the import substitution program, " the shipyard's press service said.
Massive mechanisms were lowered into the frigate's hold through technological cutouts in the deck. After centering the gearboxes, main diesel engines and turbines, the shipbuilders will be engaged in centering and installing the shaft line. This will take about six months.
The frigates of the project 22350 are designed to perform tasks anywhere in the world's oceans and are equipped with guided missiles. Two ships of the "admiral" series are in service, one is preparing for mooring tests, five more are being built.
