The crews of Su-24 bombers and Su-30SM multi-purpose fighters of the Baltic Fleet in the Kaliningrad Region carried out high-precision bombing attacks on important objects of the imaginary enemy.
The pilots of the Baltic Fleet's naval aviation practiced practical bombing and covering the ground group of troops from the air in preparation for the joint strategic exercise of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus "West-2021".
According to the information support department of the press service of the Baltic Fleet, during the flights, the crews carried out targeted bombing on full-size targets simulating command posts, engineering fortifications, manpower and equipment of a conditional enemy. The pilots also worked out combat maneuvering with extreme parameters and techniques for suppressing the air defense of a conditional enemy.
The bombing was carried out at altitudes from 200 meters to two kilometers at an aviation training ground in the Kaliningrad region. The means of objective control installed on combat vehicles and on the ground in the area of the training ground showed one hundred percent defeat of all targets.
Meanwhile,
The training in preparation for the exercise "West-2021" was also conducted by the calculations of the Iskander-M operational and tactical missile system of the Army corps of the Baltic Fleet, stationed in the Kaliningrad region. They marched to the designated area on dirt roads and rough terrain, overcoming natural obstacles and conditionally infected areas.
Then the rocket scientists deployed the complexes from the march in unprepared positions, checked the operability of the missile systems in the field, reloaded them on launchers and destroyed the command posts and satellite communication nodes of the imaginary enemy with cruise missiles. More than a hundred servicemen and about 50 units of military and special equipment were involved in the exercise.
