Rakhmanov confirmed plans to transfer two new nuclear submarines to the Russian Navy this year - the Borey-A Knyaz Oleg project and the Yasen-M Novosibirsk project. "These ships are undergoing factory tests and are among those that should be transferred this year," the head of the corporation said.
A series of nuclear-powered submarines of the fourth generation of the Borey and Borey-A project, armed with Bulava intercontinental ballistic missiles, will become the basis of naval strategic nuclear forces for the coming decades, the Russian military said.
