At the exhibition of military equipment "Army-2021" in Simferopol and Sevastopol, new T-72B3M tanks, recently entered service with the tank battalion of the 126th Coastal Defense Brigade of the 22nd Army Corps of the Black Sea Fleet, are shown for the first time.
since 2016, modernized T-72B3M tanks have been received for complete re-equipment :
- three tank battalions of the 68th tank Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division
- three tank battalions of the 1st tank Regiment of the 2nd Motorized Rifle Division
- three tank battalions of the 6th Tank Brigade
- tank battalion of the 228th motorized rifle regiment of the 90th Tank Division
- tank battalion of the 79th motorized rifle regiment of the 18th Motorized Rifle Division
- tank battalion of the 103rd motorized rifle regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division
two tank battalions of the 239th Tank Regiment of the 90th Tank Division have been partially re-equipped
