A military airfield was opened in Altai

A field military airfield appeared near Rubtsovsk in the Altai Territory. It will be used for landing transport aircraft of the Central Military District.

The airfield was built by the forces of the engineering airfield battalion of the Central Military District.

- The runway of the airfield allows you to land An-12 and An-26 transport aircraft, as well as Mi-8 transport and attack helicopters,-the press service of the Central Military District reports.

A special platform for parking and refueling of military helicopters and aircraft was also equipped at the field airfield.
