According to the American military, Russia poses a nuclear threat in the near future. At the same time, China is no less dangerous, according to Boussier. "It will soon surpass Russia in capabilities and become the main nuclear threat," he said. The general added that this will happen "in the next few years."
Earlier, military expert Kingston Reif said that the development of missiles by China and Russia could cause an uncontrolled nuclear war. He drew attention to the fact that Washington is currently modernizing its entire fleet, while Beijing and Moscow continue testing new missiles and expanding their arsenal.
