KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 25. /TASS/. A mobile radar station "Laguna-I", which will be able to monitor the coastal zone of the state and determine the coordinates of ships in distress, is being created in Russia. This was reported to journalists on Wednesday in the press service of the NPK NIIDAR.

The station also has a high degree of climatic protection of the equipment, which ensures its operation in conditions of constant high humidity.
Laguna-I will be able to provide continuous round-the-clock and all-weather monitoring of the sea area of the 200-mile economic zone, regardless of meteorological conditions. In addition, it will be able to simultaneously monitor more than 200 different surface objects and transmit information about them in real time.
