"To improve mobility, a new caterpillar with reduced ground pressure is being developed, which will allow the use of the BMP-3 for the protection of northern territories, will provide the product with increased cross-country ability. In addition, it is planned to equip the BMP-3 with a power plant using the UTD-32T engine with a capacity of 660 hp in the near future, " the holding said.
The firepower of the BMP-3 will be increased by introducing high-precision ammunition into the ammunition package.
"In the direction of improving the efficiency of the weapons complex, we are considering the possibility of using guided munitions," the press service added.
