The Bulava ballistic missile for submarines will undergo modernization in the future and will remain in service for a long time, Yuri Solomonov, general designer of solid-fuel missiles, general designer of the Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering, developer of the Bulava, told RIA Novosti.
"Well, of course, any weapon system is being modernized," he said, answering the question whether the missile will be modernized.
Nevertheless, according to him, there are no plans for modernization in the near future.
According to the general designer, the Bulava will be in service with the Navy "for a very long time".
