The unmanned boat with the CyberBoat-330 hybrid engine presented at the Army-2021 military forum received a rocket-machine gun module. The vessel was developed on an initiative basis in the design bureau of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
- The water jet propulsion and the armored bottom allow you to pass sections of the sandbank without fear of damaging the unmanned platform, - Pavel Buldakov, deputy director of the Center for Technological Projects, told RG.
The boat is equipped with a hybrid engine that works by charging solar and battery batteries. The maximum speed is 60 knots (110 kilometers per hour). The range of travel, depending on the mode, is 400-500 nautical miles. Seaworthiness - up to 4 points.
- The rollover stand increases seaworthiness, that is, if the ship turns over, it will be restored to an even keel. Cylinders with a special filling ensure complete unsinkability in case of damage to the hull, " Buldakov added.
The boat's displacement of 550 kilograms allows you to place a module with missiles and a machine gun on it. Thanks to the thermal imager and lidar, the vessel can be used to patrol the water area in any weather conditions.
