The universal combat module "Hunter" has successfully passed the qualification tests. It was put into mass production.
The development of the" Hunter "is engaged in the NGO" Elektromashina "of the Uralvagonzavod concern, the press service of Rostec reports. Five universal combat modules were shipped to Remdiesel ,where they were installed on Typhoon-K armored vehicles. And these cars with "Hunters" in 2020 participated in the parade on Red Square.
In 2021, universal combat modules with improvements were installed for the same armored vehicles. They are equipped with a new Russian-made machine gun, which was created specifically for robotic complexes. According to Ivan Korolkov, Deputy general Director for special equipment of Elektromashiny ,thanks to the modernization, the effectiveness of hitting the target increased by 20-30 percent. This year, the serial "Hunter" will be put on an experimental machine developed by UKBTM and other Russian equipment. According to the company, the versatility of the module allows it to be used in different branches of the armed forces.
