The championship on the management of flying drones and ground-based robotic complexes will be held within the framework of the military-technical forum "Army-2021".
- This year, not only professional pilots will compete, but also representatives of the Ministry of Defense, Rosgvardiya and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. There we will show everything that is already used in Syria: combat robots, scouts and sappers, mine clearance, extinguishing systems and for working in dangerous environments, "the head of the military department, Sergei Shoigu, told AIF.
An exhibition dedicated to radio-electronic and information technologies, artificial intelligence will be opened in one of the pavilions of the forum.
- This is a very, very important direction. Let's show you where we are now. Without embellishment, " Shoigu promised.
"Army-2021" will be held on August 22-28 at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center, at the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield. Weapons and military equipment from the Arctic will be presented at the open site of the Patriot Exhibition Center, the show in Alabin consists of tactical episodes demonstrating the capabilities of weapons and equipment of the armed forces. In Kubinka, the main ones will be helicopters and other aircraft for Special Operations Forces.
- If earlier we had special forces and SSO flying on what everyone else was flying, now they have equipment that facilitates intelligence, and many other necessary components, - the minister noted.
