A set of operational deployment of temporary roads "KRVD" will be presented for the first time at the MVTF "Army-2021"in the city of Chita of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
The multi-purpose mechanized set of operational deployment of temporary roads is designed for the passage of wheeled and tracked vehicles on impassable and swampy areas of the terrain, as well as when equipping approaches to bridges and crossings.
The complex consists of two sets placed on the KAMAZ-63501 chassis.
Each set, when deployed, stacks (and then collects back for further transportation) 50 meters of roadway. Thus, the entire complex is able to create 100 meters of road with a width of 4.6 meters. The KRVD is built on the chassis of a four-axle KamAZ-63501 high-terrain vehicle.
A rotary mechanism with a roll of aluminum cloth with a special polymer coating will be mixed in the truck body. With the help of an electric motor, it is spread out along the course of the movement of vehicles. And it also collapses after passing a column of heavy equipment. If 100 m of the roadbed is not enough, the road can be increased by additional sections, they will be fastened with special locks.
