A large anti-submarine ship of the Northern Fleet "Vice Admiral Kulakov" entered the Mediterranean Sea. He crossed the Strait of Gibraltar last night. According to the press service of the Northern Fleet, the ship is heading in an easterly direction.
From Severomorsk - the main base of the fleet - "Vice Admiral Kulakov" left on June 28. First, he took part in the Main Naval Parade in St. Petersburg. Then he worked out individual episodes of practical exercises in the Atlantic Ocean.
In the Mediterranean Sea, the Vice Admiral Kulakov will operate as part of a grouping of ships of the Russian Navy. In the near future, the crew will make a stop at the anchorage point in the Alboran Sea. Here he will replenish his supplies. And then he will continue to perform the tasks of a long-distance hike.
