According to the data provided, two new Russian corvettes of projects 20380 and 20385 will be laid at once in August. They will serve in the Pacific Ocean.
According to sources of Izvestia in the defense department, two new warships — the Grozny and the Buyny-will soon be laid at the Amur Shipbuilding Plant (ASZ). The first of them belongs to Project 20380, the second to project 20385.
There is a small chance that the event will be postponed to the end of the year: previously, the terms of laying ships were repeatedly changed. It is not reported when the construction of the corvettes should be completed. Probably around the middle of the decade.
The ships of the project 20380 are a series of Russian multi-purpose corvettes of the second rank with guided missile weapons of the near and far sea zone. They were developed both in the interests of the Russian Navy and for export deliveries. It is assumed that for the next 30-40 years, representatives of the family will become the basis of the fleet in the near sea zone.

Instead of anti-ship missiles "Uran", the UKSK 3S14 launcher was chosen, which allows the use of " Calibers "and"Onyx".
The further development of the family was the project 20386, made on the basis of the 20385. It is assumed that he will receive an adjustable pitch screw, a modular armament principle and will be able to use new UAVs. The lead ship, the Mercury, was laid down in 2016.
