Alexey Rakhmanov, General Director of USC, said that the corporation is solving this problem together with technologists
SEVERODVINSK / Arkhangelsk region/, July 30. /TASS/. Sevmash (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, USC) solves the task of reducing the delivery time of serial nuclear submarines (NPS) by 9-14 months. This was announced on Friday by the general director of USC Alexey Rakhmanov.
"The company's management has been tasked with reducing the construction time of a series of submarines by approximately 9-14 months, "Rakhmanov said at the launch ceremony of the Krasnoyarsk project 885M submarine at Sevmash.
According to him, USC is currently solving this task together with technologists. "This is not an easy task, and it will probably not be achieved on the next serial number. But taking into account the tasks set for us by the Ministry of Defense and the president, we are fulfilling this task so that more boats can be placed at the disposal of the Navy," the head of the corporation added.
Currently, Sevmash is building serial nuclear submarines with ballistic missiles of project 955A (code "Borey-A") and with cruise missiles of project 885M (code "Yasen-M"). In addition, the company is building a special-purpose nuclear submarine of the project 09852 "Belgorod".
