Marine units of the naval forces of the Vietnamese People's Army regularly conduct exercises on landing on the coast. Thanks to the video frames from such classes that have appeared on the Network, you can see which samples are currently in service with them.
For example, the equipment was transferred by an average landing ship of the project 770 (NATO designation Polnocny) of Polish construction, having a displacement of more than 800 tons. It can accommodate up to five units of various combat vehicles.
Such KFOR are armed with 140-mm multiple launch rocket systems with 18 guides, capable of destroying targets at a distance of up to 10,000 meters. There are also 30-mm anti-aircraft installations AK-230 M and portable missile systems "Strela-2". The maximum speed is 16.5 knots, the range is 1000 miles. The crew consists of 42 people.
The Marines still use PT-76 floating tanks and BTR-60PB armored personnel carriers received from the USSR in the 60-70s. This technique has managed to fight in several wars. Currently, despite its good amphibious properties, it is no longer considered modern, but so far there is no talk of any full-fledged replacement.
Captured American landing boats are also still in use, one of them - HQ-551 - was loaded with a GAZ-66 all-terrain vehicle.
In addition to the traditional Kalashnikov assault rifles, you can see Israeli TAR-21 assault rifles. Fire support is also provided by PKM machine guns and large-caliber DSHKM. B-10 recoilless guns, manufactured in Vietnam under license, are used to defeat various targets.
