MOSCOW, July 28. /TASS/. Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant (IEMZ) "Kupol "(part of the Almaz-Antey concern of East Kazakhstan Region) will develop a modification of the newest target air defense complex" Adjutant", capable of simulating a swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported to TASS by Alexander Dushkin, a specialist of the Target Complexes project at the Kupol IEMZ.
"We already have the ability to lift up to six targets into the sky at the same time, thereby playing out various attack scenarios. Of course, in the future we thought about combining two such "Adjutants" together, thereby increasing this very swarm [of drones] at times, " he said.
According to him, a large-scale modernization of the project is planned, which involves combining the two complexes into a single system, developing the engine fleet and improving flight performance to increase the maximum speed and duration of the flight. "We will also expand our target park by adding other types of targets. They are faster, more maneuverable, " Dushkin added.

IEMZ Kupol is the only enterprise in Russia where a target complex was developed that can take up to six targets into the sky at the same time. "Adjutant" is considered the most modern target system for the preparation of air defense calculations. The peculiarity of the complex is that all the elements and reusable targets necessary for operation are placed on one chassis, simulating modern means of air attack, including cruise missiles, airplanes, helicopters and drones.
