TSAMTO, July 23. JSC "UEC-Klimov" and the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant (JSC "OARZ") signed a contract to support the life cycle of TVZ-117/VK-2500 engines in the Center of Medium Repair at the production facilities of the plant in Orsha.
Maintenance of the product life cycle includes determining the technical condition of engines, restoring engines using medium repair technology in terms of replacing damaged compressor parts, replacing/repairing the compressor turbine and fuel collector, as well as replacing the covering discs to ensure an increase in the inter-repair resource and service life.
The contract was signed during the work of MAKS-2021. The document, which is valid until 2025, was signed by Pavel Sluchak, General Director of JSC "OARZ", and Alexander Vatagin, Executive Director of JSC "UEC-Klimov".
The contract contains a list and the cost of parts and assembly units that can be used for the repair and restoration of engines, a list of necessary tools and other important logistical and organizational aspects of interaction.

The agreement combines our previously concluded agreements and fixes the tasks of both parties that must be performed to maintain the airworthiness of the helicopter fleet of the Republic of Belarus. Earlier, an agreement was signed between the enterprises within the framework of the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia-2021 on performing medium repairs of UEC-Klimov aircraft engines.
The total fleet of helicopters of the republic with TV3-117 engines and their models developed by JSC "UEC-Klimov" has more than 45 machines.
