The export version of the "Lever-AV-E"electronic warfare system is presented at the MAKS-2021 International Air Show. The electronic warfare system is located on the platform of the Mi8-MTPR1 multifunctional helicopter.
"Rychag-AV-E is designed to provide group protection of aircraft and ground objects and means of air attack and air defense of the enemy by electronic suppression," the annotation to the KRET product says.
In particular, the electronic warfare helicopter complex will be able to suppress radars and other equipment of air defense systems during a strike aircraft raid, as well as protect bombers from enemy fighter attacks. "Lever-AV-E" can simultaneously suppress up to eight radio-electronic means and deliver targeted interference in frequency and direction.
It should be noted that the Lever-AV system was delivered to the Russian army in 2015-2016. The stations of the electronic warfare complex are built on the basis of multipath antenna arrays. The system is based on Russian-made components and has no analogues in the world. A special feature of this electronic warfare system is its versatility, thanks to which it can be placed on helicopters and airplanes, as well as on stationary ground or mobile objects, including ships.
"Rychag-AV" can not only suppress the enemy's radio-electronic systems, but also simultaneously conduct radio-technical reconnaissance, identifying foreign sources of electromagnetic radiation.
