In the Leningrad Region, servicemen of the Keletsko-Berlin Artillery Brigade of the Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District (ZVO) began live firing from closed firing positions at targets simulating enemy fortifications and armored structures.
Calculations of 152-mm self-propelled howitzers 2S3M "Acacia" and 2S19 "Msta-S" are firing both direct fire and from closed firing positions along a mounted trajectory, hitting targets at ranges from 7 to 15 km.
In addition, the howitzer crews fulfilled the standards for deploying, loading guns, moving to positions, performing an anti-fire maneuver and masking equipment.
To calculate the trajectories of projectiles, adjust the fire, track the airspace and take into account the destruction of targets, the Zoo-1 radar reconnaissance complexes and the AZK-7M sonometric complex were used.
More than 200 servicemen take part in artillery firing, more than 50 units of weapons and military equipment are involved.
