A video shot in a mountainous area appeared on the Network, where you can see the badly damaged wreckage of the drone, including elements of the body made of composite materials, parts of internal electronic equipment, as well as the engine.

It is assumed that the UAV was supposed to strike at the Kurdish formations. To do this, it was hung with adjustable compact aviation bombs with a laser semi-active homing head MAM-C and MAM-L, capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 8000 meters.
However, they did not have time to use these weapons. Judging by the fact that the opponents of the Turkish military have not yet made any statements, the drone was lost not because of the use of air defense means, but for some technical reasons.
Bayraktar TB2 was also used in other hot spots. With its own weight of 650 kg, it is capable of carrying 150 kg of payload and, in addition to the above-mentioned ammunition, UMTAS guided missiles.
The maximum speed can exceed 220 km / h, the ceiling reaches 8200 meters. The radius of application is about 150 km.
It should be noted that problems with the reliability of TB2 have happened before. It was reported that they fell due to engine failure, loss of control or operator errors.
Currently, TB2s are delivered to Azerbaijan, Qatar and Ukraine, and in the latter they enter service with both the Air Force and the Navy of the country.
