The Israeli company Rafael offered to equip Indian T-90 main battle tanks with active protection complexes (KAZ) Trophy.

A model of a combat vehicle upgraded in this way was presented in April 2018 in Chennai at the 10th international defense exhibition Defexpo.
The demonstrated sample looked more like a T-90MS than a Bhishma produced under a Russian license. At least, the side screens were similar, and on the roof of the tower there was some kind of remotely controlled machine gun installation. At the same time, there was no panoramic commander's sight.
But it seems that the creators of the layout did not pay much attention to such "trifles", for them the main thing was to demonstrate the very fact of the possible installation of KAZ on Russian-developed equipment.
Previously [...], a similarly equipped captured medium T-62, delivered by the Soviet Union to one of the Arab states, was already presented. However, this proposal, despite the widespread use of such tanks in the world, did not arouse much interest among potential customers.
Apparently, the Indian military was not particularly impressed with this mock-up of the "nineties" with the Trophy, so currently RAFAEL specialists are focusing on promoting their product in NATO countries.
At the same time, judging by the reports of Russian television channels from the 38th Research Institute of Armored Weapons and Equipment, a modernized domestic active protection complex is now being tested quite successfully, which meets the highest international standards in terms of its capabilities.
