Scheduled flights of crews of long-range Tu-22m3 bombers took place in the Kaluga Region.
The main task of the flight shift was to maintain the training of the flight crew, as well as practical testing of flights on aviation equipment in formation at short distances.
During the flight task, special attention was paid to the implementation of piloting techniques with elements of air navigation by the flight crew.
On the ground, the engineering and technical staff worked out the standards for the maintenance and preparation of aircraft for repeated departures in the established time intervals.
During one flight shift, 6 units of aviation equipment and more than 20 units of automotive and special equipment of the airfield support battalion were involved.
