In Ukraine, an electronic panel for the modernized T-64 "Crab" tank was shown. It is surprising that for some reason such equipment was demonstrated not inside the combat vehicle, but outside, although it is clear that wires are connected to it.

In the pictures, you can see that the anti-aircraft installation with a 12.7-mm machine gun NSVT "Utes" is equipped with a television camera, there are so - called "burdocks" - rubber screens on the tower. It is also reported about the installation of an air conditioning system.
The" Crab " should be mounted with a 1000-horsepower 6TD-1 engine, previously used on the T-80UD, which were supplied to the Soviet Army, and then exported to Pakistan. Thanks to the increased power, improved mobility and maneuverability are expected.
The improved fire control system should receive a thermal imager and the possibility of using laser-guided Kombat missiles.
The commander will be able to duplicate the actions of the gunner-operator, and perhaps his surveillance device will also have a thermal imaging channel.
The dynamic protection will remain mounted, but the elements placed inside the containers are new, with improved anti-accumulation characteristics.
So far, a batch of 12 combat vehicles has been ordered, which are going to be shown at the parade in Kiev.
