According to the commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, three nuclear submarines of the Northern Fleet will arrive in Kronstadt from July 8 to 10.
"For the first time, three nuclear submarines will take part in the Main Naval Parade at once. This is, first of all, the newest strategic missile submarine "Prince Vladimir" of the Borey-A project. I would like to note that for the first time a submarine of the Borey-A project will take part in the parade. Also, the nuclear submarines "Boar" and "Eagle"will arrive to participate in the Main Naval Parade. Currently, all of them are making an inter-fleet transition from the North to the Baltic, " Admiral Nikolai Evmenov said.
The commander-in-chief of the Navy also added that the crews of these submarines have a high level of training and will adequately represent the submarine forces of the Navy at the fifth Main Naval Parade.
"The water area of the Kronstadt raid is fully ready to receive ships and submarines of large displacement. The Prince Vladimir, Eagle and Boar submarines will occupy the designated points in the static parade line at the Kronstadt roadstead, " Admiral Nikolai Evmenov said.
