Five tactical exercises with motorized rifle, tank, artillery, reconnaissance units and calculations of S-300PS anti-aircraft missile systems of the 201st Russian military base stationed in the Republic of Tajikistan took place last week as part of the summer combat training cycle. In total, about 3 thousand servicemen were involved in the exercises.
As part of the exercises, the calculations of the S-300 PS anti-aircraft missile systems division worked out the detection of high-speed targets of a conditional enemy. The forces on duty carried out the capture, escort and electronic launches of anti-aircraft guided missiles at air targets that imitated modern means of enemy air attack from various directions and at various altitudes.
At the Sambuli mountain range, artillery units performed the solution of tactical tasks with the stages of combat firing from 122-mm self-propelled artillery installations 2S1 " Gvozdika "and 120-mm mortars"Sani".
To detect and correct the fire, military personnel of intelligence units using modern technical means of reconnaissance "Fara", "Sobolyatnik", "Sagittarius"were involved. The reconnaissance groups worked out the landing of a tactical landing, the destruction of the enemy in a populated area with elements of mountain training.
The pilots of the Mi-24 and Mi-8MTV5-1 helicopters of the aviation group launched unguided aircraft missiles, hitting more than fifteen targets simulating a convoy of cars, firing points, as well as caches of weapons and ammunition.
