The stealth of the Borey-type submarines will be increased by a pump

At the MVMS-2021 in St. Petersburg, a mock-up of a dehumidifying pump for Borey-type nuclear missile carriers was presented. The unit has exceptional vibration-noise characteristics, ensuring the secrecy of the submarine, writes FlotProm.

The pump was developed by order of the designer "Boreyev" of the Central Design Bureau "Rubin".

- The 75 kW unit has the characteristics of the 4+ generation boat equipment, is made of domestic components and provides water pumping at a speed of 20-100 cubic meters per hour,-said Vyacheslav Drovetsky, chief engineer of the manufacturing company.
