TSAMTO, June 2. The second serial frigate "Admiral Golovko" of project 22350, which is under construction at the Northern Shipyard (part of the USC), has completed the installation and electrical installation of the bow and stern main switchboards (GRSH) and power supply panels from the shore.
The connection of two GDSS will make it possible to supply power to all the systems and equipment installed on the frigate that ensure the vital activity of the order.
Now shipbuilders are centering gearboxes, turbines, main diesels and shaft lines, preparing for the delivery of the OTK towing device and foam extinguishing system. Loading and installation of products and equipment are being carried out on the order, and the ship's service rooms are being prepared for sewing.
Project 22350 frigates are designed to perform a wide range of tasks, including combating surface ships, searching for and destroying submarines and ground targets, anti-aircraft, anti-submarine and anti-missile defense of ships and vessels, joint actions with amphibious landings, carrying out patrol duty, protecting state borders, ensuring the protection of civilian ships and production facilities in crisis and dangerous areas of the World Ocean.
