Deliveries will begin later on the order of Roscosmos
MOSCOW, June 1. /TASS/. A prototype parachute system for the Eagle spacecraft will be ready in 2023. This was announced by Igor Nasenkov, head of the Technodinamika holding company of the Rostec State Corporation, on the sidelines of the congress of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia.
"The prototype will be fully ready in 2023. Further, on the order of Roscosmos, when he says, we will start deliveries. It all depends on the finishing object [the ship "Eagle"]. Now it is on schedule, " he said.
The first launch of the Orel spacecraft without astronauts on board is scheduled for 2023 from the Vostochny cosmodrome, and the spacecraft is not scheduled to dock with the International Space Station (ISS) on this flight. In 2024, the "Eagle" will perform a second flight without astronauts, followed by docking with the ISS. Manned flights of the ship will begin in 2025.
