Moscow. May 26. INTERFAX - The crew of the frigate Admiral Grigorovich fired the anti-aircraft missile system "Calm" during a joint exercise with the anti-ship missile systems "Utes "and" Bal", the Black Sea Fleet reported on Wednesday.
"According to the plan of the exercise, the combat crews of coastal missile systems were assigned the task: to search for a surface ship and, after detection, to perform missile firing at a sea target with several Progress and Uranus missiles," the report says.
"In turn, the crew of the frigate found air targets, took them on escort and successfully hit them at a safe distance and altitude for the ship, using the anti-aircraft missile system "Calm",-said in a press release.
It notes that the live firing was carried out in several stages, during which more than 10 missile launches were carried out from the ship and coastal complexes.
The results of the missile firing were recorded by unmanned aerial vehicles of the naval aviation and air defense of the Black Sea Fleet.
The exercise was conducted in the Black Sea in accordance with the combat training plan of the Black Sea Fleet, according to the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet.
