MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. Tula "Instrument Design Bureau" (KBP, part of the NGO "High-Precision Complexes" of the state Corporation "Rostec") and the operators of the scientific company of the Military Innovation Technopolis "Era" are working on the modernization of radar systems developed by KBP to increase their ability to detect low-visibility targets, including anti-ship missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as ground and underwater robotics. This was reported to TASS by the press service of "High-precision complexes".
"At the moment, work has been completed on the development of the program and methodology for conducting measurements, design documentation for the complex, a real-time background-target situation simulator has been manufactured, and work has been carried out to analyze existing mathematical models of radar signal propagation," the holding company informed.
As noted in the "High-precision complexes", the operators of the Tula scientific company of the technopolis " Era " conducted debugging of the simulator of the background-target situation. "The development of algorithms for processing radar signals, which will be used during the experimental work of the complex as a whole, continues," the holding added.
The next stages of work on the project are planned to be completed during 2021-2022, the press service reported.
