TSAMTO, May 25. Automated storage systems (ACC) were installed in a number of workshops of the V. P. Chkalov NAZ, a branch of PJSC Sukhoi (part of PJSC UAC of Rostec Group).
Their use, due to the optimization of warehouse space, will increase the size of the working space by 2.5 times.
"The ACC installation is part of the process of modernization of the production of NAZ named after V. P. Chkalov and improvement of working conditions at the enterprise. The innovation, due to the optimal use of the working space of the workshops, allowed us to solve the problem of lack of storage space, increase the degree of safety of workpieces, and therefore, ultimately, improve the quality of our products. Chkalov NAZ.
Thanks to the use of ACC in shop No. 43, it was possible to place 12,500 additional parts and significantly reduce the amount of time spent by employees of the enterprise on their search. The design of the ACC consists of three cargo elevators with a height of 11.5 m. " Previously, to take something from the shelf, workers had to climb on a ladder-ladder. Now the operator needs one key press to do this. The shelf automatically goes down, the necessary part is supplied to the specialist for further assembly", Sergey Panasenko, explained the deputy head of shop No. 43 for production preparation Ulyana Kopylova.
For the workers of shop No. 72, we purchased a sheet metal ACC. The installation, consisting of two racks, occupies only 70 square meters, and allows you to store 93 tons of metal.
