SEVASTOPOL, May 22. /TASS/. The Guards missile cruiser "Moscow" and the frigate "Admiral Grigorovich" of the Black Sea Fleet (CHM) conducted exercises in the Black Sea to search for a submarine and track it, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet said on Saturday.
"During the exercise, the crews of the ships successfully worked out the tasks of searching and tracking the submarine with the actual firing of torpedo weapons and rocket launchers," the report says.
It is specified that also in cooperation with the crews of the naval aviation aircraft of the fleet, the sailors performed firing from artillery installations at air targets, during the reflection of an airstrike by an air enemy.
"At the final stage of the exercise, the Guards missile cruiser" Moscow "and the frigate" Admiral Grigorovich" worked out joint actions on the conditional use of missile weapons to destroy ship groups and ground objects of the conditional enemy, " the navy added.
According to the press service, the ships have now returned to the main base of the Black Sea Fleet, in Sevastopol, after performing planned naval combat exercises in the sea ranges of the Black Sea.
