INTERFAX-The patrol ship of the Black Sea Fleet "Vasily Bykov" is making a planned transition from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, currently the crew of the ship has passed the Black Sea Bosphorus Strait and is passing the Dardanelles Strait, said the head of the information support Department of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain 2nd rank Alexey Rulev.
"It is planned that today, by the end of the day, the Vasily Bykov will become part of the forces of the permanent connection of the Navy in the Mediterranean Sea," Rulev told reporters on Thursday.
The crew of the ship, previously performing tasks in the Black Sea, performed a complex of ship combat exercises in the training grounds of the fleet.
