This self-propelled gun, created on the chassis of the ZBD-03 amphibious assault vehicle, is considered an analog of the Russian 2C9 "Nona-S", which has been operated in the domestic airborne troops and marines for more than 40 years and has shown itself perfectly in numerous wars and armed conflicts.
After the first presentation, almost three years have passed, but, apparently, the novelty has not entered mass production, and currently the process of fine-tuning is continuing at the landfills.
It is believed that when creating this sample of military equipment, a gun previously installed on the wheeled PLL-05 and tracked PPZ-10 was used.
This artillery system can use high-explosive shells and mines of Chinese and foreign production.
The firing range of the first type of ammunition reaches 9500 meters, the second-8500 meters. The rate of fire is 8 and 10 rounds per minute, respectively.
Like the basic car, the self-propelled gun has good mobility - the maximum speed on the highway is at least 65 km / h. It is possible to swim to overcome water obstacles.
The armor protects against small arms bullets and shell fragments.
Currently, the ZBD-03 combat vehicle is also being upgraded, and it has been equipped with improved sighting equipment, which has increased the accuracy of firing the gun while moving.
