Moscow. May 15. INTERFAX-The large anti-submarine ship "Admiral Panteleev" performed artillery firing in the waters of the Peter the Great Bay, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported on Saturday.
"During the exercise, the crew successfully repelled an attack by a simulated enemy from the air, and then hit a naval target with artillery," the fleet said in a statement.
The military reported that during the exercise at the training ground of the Pacific Fleet, a large anti-submarine ship conducted a complex of artillery firing from 100-mm AK-100 artillery installations on a sea towed shield that simulates a surface ship of a simulated enemy.
"Next, the crew gradually worked out the tasks of hitting air targets dropped by parachute, destroyed a mock-up of a sea floating mine. For this purpose, 30-mm six-barrel automatic shipboard artillery installations AK-630 were used, " the TOPH said.
