TSAMTO, May 12. A new anti-sabotage boat (PRDK) "Grachonok"has arrived in the connection of ships protecting the water area of the Troops and forces in the North-East of Russia.
At the request of the Governor of Sakhalin and representatives of the unarmeisk movement of the region, the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy assigned the new boat the name "Unarmeets Sakhalin".
This is the third boat of the project "Grachonok", which entered the squad to combat the PDSS and named after the detachments of the public military-patriotic movement on the North-eastern borders of Russia. The boats "Yunarmeets of Kamchatka" and "Yunarmeets of Chukotka" are already performing their intended tasks as part of the connection of ships protecting the OKVS water area.
In the near future, the flag of the Navy will be raised in a solemn atmosphere at the new PRDC.
The anti-sabotage boat is designed to combat underwater sabotage forces and enemy means, to ensure the actions of combat swimmers in the waters of the bases and nearby approaches to them.
The main technical characteristics: displacement-138 tons, length-31 m, width-9.5 m, full speed - 23 knots, cruising range-200 miles, autonomy-5 days, crew-8 people, according to the Information Support Group of the Navy.
