TSAMTO, May 12. More than 80 units of weapons and military equipment have been received by the troops of the Central Military District (CVO) since the beginning of this year.
Wheeled and tracked vehicles for various purposes, as well as aircraft, have been added to the armament fleet of formations and military units of the Central Military District stationed in the Orenburg, Samara, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions.
Among the received equipment – tanks with improved combat characteristics of the T-72B3M, upgraded infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2M. The support units received modern military trucks Ural 4320 "Motovoz", KAMAZ "Mustang", army all-terrain vehicles UAZ "Patriot", complex hardware communications P-240I" Settler", truck tractors and fuel tankers, as well as the latest medical armored vehicles"Lens". The Mixed Aviation Division in the Chelyabinsk Region received two upgraded aircraft: the Su-34M fighter-bomber and the Su-24MR front-line reconnaissance aircraft, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
The Central Military District is stationed on the territory of 29 subjects of the Russian Federation in three federal districts. The district structurally includes a number of foreign objects: the 201st military base on the territory of Tajikistan, the joint military base in Kyrgyzstan, as well as units on the territory of Kazakhstan.
